Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 12: The Seventh Edition of Suchitra MUN (Model United Nations), held on August 1st and 2nd at Suchitra Academy International School, emerged as a landmark event in student diplomacy, drawing 359 delegates from 45 leading International schools across Hyderabad. The two-day conference was guided by this year’s powerful theme: MISCERE. FABRICARE. DUCERE – Blend. Forge. Lead, and showcased the future of global leadership through dialogue, debate, and dynamic problem-solving.

The event featured 8 dynamic and diverse committees, offering students an immersive experience in diplomacy, global policy, and international relations. From addressing human rights violations in the UNHRC to robust parliamentary debates in the Lok Sabha, delegates engaged with urgency and clarity–demonstrating an inspiring command of complex global issues.

Two major firsts set Suchitra MUN 7.0 apart:

Debut of the UNODC Committee: For the first time, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime was simulated with a historic Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) setup. Featuring “freeze dates” for historical accuracy, delegates navigated past and present policy decisions with remarkable strategic insight.

First-Ever Simulation of the International Esports Federation (IESF): This cutting-edge committee brought the world of competitive gaming into the MUN sphere–exploring digital governance, tech policy, and esports regulation on a global scale. A pioneering step not just for Suchitra MUN, but for the entire MUN ecosystem in India.

Another highlight was the high-stakes Crisis Committee (CCC) that explored a fictional World War III scenario. With real-time updates and unexpected turns, delegates demonstrated adaptability, teamwork, and high-pressure diplomacy at its best.

Throughout the event, the International Press Team played a vital role in capturing the energy and emotion of the conference–through timely coverage, engaging interviews, and powerful photography.

What truly set this edition apart was the sense of connection and transformation. From pre-speech nerves and midnight research sessions to passionate speeches and spontaneous alliances, Suchitra MUN 7.0 wasn’t just about global issues–it was about building global citizens.

“Suchitra MUN isn’t just a conference–it’s a launchpad for young leaders. It empowers students to speak up, think critically, and act with empathy,” said a representative from the Secretariat.

The Bhopal meet much like its recent edition in Gwalior reflected the brand’s ethos of becoming more than just a product supplier. It positioned Sirca as a collaborator in the creative process, a partner that understands and responds to the real-time challenges and aspirations of the design community.

Set against the refined backdrop of The Taj Hotel, the evening unfolded as an immersive networking experience marked by authentic conversations, shared ideas, and a deep appreciation for craft. Far from a conventional product showcase, it was a celebration of meaningful relationships: a space where Sirca’s signature wood coatings and OIKOS wall textures connected directly with the creative minds shaping the built environment.

Designed to foster purposeful connections, the gathering brought together a carefully selected group of architects and interior designers from Bhopal and nearby regions. Instead of showcasing a lineup of finishes, the focus was on opening a dialogue rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and a shared passion for design excellence.

Attendees interacted with real-time samples, feeling the textures, examining the finishes, and immersing themselves in the nuances of craftsmanship that Sirca is known for. The showcase of OIKOS wall textures and Sirca’s wood finishes served as a catalyst for deeper conversations on how these materials could contribute to more expressive, enduring design outcomes.

The event not only highlighted Sirca’s evolving portfolio of finishes but also underscored its role as more than a materials provider as a creative ally and an engaged participant in the broader design conversation. For Sirca, the evening was less about showcasing products and more about listening about understanding how the language of space is shifting, and how materiality can support that evolution.

As the evening drew to a close, what remained wasn’t just the impression of rich textures and polished surfaces, but the resonance of meaningful exchange, the spark of new ideas, the beginning of shared aspirations. With gatherings like these, Sirca continues to invest in the relationships and insights that will shape its journey forward.

The event brought together some of the most forward-thinking architects and interior designers in the region, creating a vibrant platform for dialogue, collaboration, and creative exchange.

As one of India’s leading brands in luxury wood coatings and decorative finishes, including the Italian wall textures by OIKOS Italy, Sirca has consistently aligned itself with design excellence and innovation. The Gwalior meet was a natural extension of the brand’s ethos — to not just provide premium finishes, but to be an active participant in shaping the visual and material culture of modern India. The event served as a gathering ground for established voices and emerging talents in design, unified by a shared belief in quality, detail, and craft.

Set against the elegant backdrop of the Jehan Numa Palace Hotel, the evening unfolded as a sophisticated networking experience infused with warm hospitality and rich conversations. Far beyond a typical corporate showcase, this was a celebration of relationships — a space where Sirca’s signature wood coatings and Oikos wall textures met the minds that shape spaces.

The purpose of the evening was clear: to foster meaningful connections between Sirca and a curated circle of design professionals from Gwalior and surrounding regions. This wasn’t about product display alone — it was about listening, exchanging, and finding synergy in ideas. Architects and designers interacted closely with Sirca’s team, exploring potential collaborations, new materials, and how the brand could be integrated meaningfully into future projects.

Among the key attendees were Malay Gadkar from Evenleap Design Studio, known for their experimental forms and understated luxury; Chirayu Agarwal of Sky High, who brings contemporary aspirations into harmony with functional spaces; and Rahul Dewani from Wallnut Engineers, a firm associated with bold structural expression and refined detailing. Also present was Vicky Gidwani of Gidwani Associates, who blends traditional design principles with modern aesthetics; Shailesh Makhijani and Greesh Gupta from Aantrik Interiors & Architecture, celebrated for their seamless integration of materiality and spatial storytelling; and Ravi Bagga of Bagga Associates, a longstanding contributor to Gwalior’s evolving design landscape.

Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to experience Sirca’s latest surface solutions firsthand. From Italian wood coatings to innovative Oikos wall textures, the finishes sparked discussions on their application across residential, commercial, and bespoke luxury projects.

The event not only spotlighted Sirca’s evolving product line but reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to being more than a supplier — to being a collaborator, a creative partner, and a voice in the wider design discourse. For Sirca, this meet was not just about showcasing what’s possible with finishes, but about understanding what’s next in the language of space.
